Opportunity For Reflection

It’s hard to believe the holidays are already here. The first day of winter fell a few days ago, and this morning, families everywhere are gathering to celebrate Christmas, hopefully with some space away from work.

Fall is gone, but winter offers an opportunity for reflection and change. The holidays allow us to exit routines and reflect on what is truly important. It is also a great time to check in on the health of all our relationships — those with ourselves, others, and the environment.

New Year’s is just around the corner and is an opportune time to implement the changes our reflections reveal. When I think about our human experience from the ancient past to the present, I’m always inspired by the human being’s ability to evolve and adapt. It really is our superpower.

I’m wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas, and an amazing New Year. Let’s breathe out the last air of the season and refill our lungs with new air that will allow us to recover, refocus, and renew.
